TSS Says: I discovered ear candles in 2004 when an assistant in a health shop recommended them as I had an awful cold and was bunged up. She said it would help clear my sinus and aid a speedier recovery or at least ease the discomfort. I was not prepared for for the shock of seeing the contents of my ear (ear wax) which was in the end of the candle which I unfolded to asses at the end of the treatment as advised. I became a regular user after that and use them on the whole family. It does away with the need for tedious and uncomfortable ear drops or other ear wax removal methods. Is much easier to use on kids and is perfect for a pre flight/holiday cleanse. I no longer need to pop my ears taking off or landing as the pressure doesn’t get trapped and I also don’t tend to get ear infections, again because dirty pool water cant get trapped behind a wax clogged eardrum.

Do seek medical advice if you have ( or anyone you  are intending to use them on has)  a perforated eardrum or suffers with ear infections.  I think it can help to clear ear infections personally but its always wise to check with a GP first.  You can pay £25-£30 for these treatments in a beauty salon so this is a great money saver DIY kit.

The original ear candle was invented by the Hopi Tribe USA and their version of “Hopi Candle” is available but costs around a 3rd more than our supply which work as effectively
